Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as SSC's costume designer, producer writer/music director as well as a text coach. In her final year she served as lighting designer and director for SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the group, but previous year, she directed her debut.
